Noah Carpenter was born 28 March 1673 in Rehoboth, MA. He was the son of William (1631) and Miriam Searles-Carpenter. His siblings were: Josiah, Nathaniel, Daniel, Miriam, Obediah, Ephraim, Hannah and Abigail. His Half-siblings were: John, William, Priscilla and Benjamin. Noah was married three times: 03 December 1700 to Sarah Johnson (from whom Simon was born in Attelboro, MA in 1716); 22 May 1727 to the widow, Mrs. Ruth Follett-Talbott-Carpenter; third and last to the widow Tabithy (Mrs. William) Bishop-Carpenter with intentions published 29 November 174 Noah married first Sarah Johnson. Per Marriages*, p.136: Carpenter, Noah (1672-3,-Attleboro) and 1/wf Sarah JONSON/JOHNSON of Dorchester (-- 1726) 3 Dec 1700; Rehoboth/Attleboro/Dorchester. They had thirteen children before she died in 1726: Noah, Marian, Sarah, Stephen, Asa, Mary, Margaret, Simon, Isiah, again Simon, Martha, Elisha and Amy. Noah and his second wife, Mrs. Ruth (Follett) Talbott, had one child: Priscilla, b.01 May 1728; Ruth died 10 June 1745. Third and last wife of Noah was Tabithy Bishop, widow of William Bishop. intentions of their marriage were published 29 November 1945, but records do not show that they were, in fact, married.
